He was found there Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police have identified the man as PHB, an 85-year-old UK national. A villa staff member, Ni Wayan Munti, discovered his body at around 9 a.m. local time after arriving to deliver breakfast. He was unresponsive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were no signs of violence, no struggle, no foul play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, the Ubud police chief, Kompol I Wayan Putra Antara, told reporters that preliminary examinations point to a quieter, more somber cause: illness and age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medical responders from Nusa Medica Clinic Ubud used an EKG device. There was no heartbeat. Investigators believe he died roughly 12 hours earlier, around 9 p.m. on Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to police, relatives of the deceased are expected to arrive from Australia to handle formalities.
