The evacuation was finally carried out at approximately 12:35 p.m., with responders accessing the location through a riverside hotel in Ubud.

Several hotel guests and rafting participants reportedly witnessed the body before it was removed from the river.

Authorities have not yet released information regarding the cause of death, and investigators are continuing efforts to identify the victim.

For now, one question remains unanswered: how an unidentified man ended up among the rocks of Bali’s most famous river.

#balinews | Source : Detik Bali

GIANYAR, Bali — An unidentified man’s body was discovered Friday afternoon lodged between rocks in the Ayung River, one of Bali’s most popular white-water rafting destinations.
