Bali’s Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration has deployed 104 officers to monitor foreign nationals across the island as part of an intensified enforcement campaign, according to a written statement released Thursday, July 16, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Felucia Sengky Ratna, Head of the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, said the initiative is known as the Dharma Dewata patrol. Officers are visiting business operators and tourist accommodation managers to provide direct education on the obligation to report the presence of foreign nationals through the Foreigner Reporting Application (APOA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Felucia said active participation from business operators using the APOA application is essential to supporting accurate data, and emphasized the importance of cross-sector cooperation in maintaining regional order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I greatly appreciate the support from all members of Timpora (the Foreigner Supervision Team) in Bali. Intensive collaboration and information exchange have proven effective in uncovering various immigration issues more quickly and accurately,” Felucia said in the written statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Felucia said the activity is an implementation of the Dharma Dewata Patrol Task Force, officially established on April 15, 2026. The task force was formed to conduct routine monitoring and early detection of potential immigration violations throughout Bali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“In its operations, the task force does not work independently, but collaborates with the Foreigner Supervision Team (Timpora) and relevant law enforcement agencies,” she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Felucia said the patrol activities have so far identified 342 foreign nationals from 60 countries suspected of administrative violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regarding enforcement procedures, Felucia instructed her staff to uphold integrity and standard operating procedures. “In every operation, I emphasize that all personnel work professionally and avoid abuse of authority, conducting supervision in a humane manner while remaining firm and measured within the applicable legal framework,” she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Felucia further encouraged the public to actively participate in oversight by reporting any indications of violations committed by foreign nationals through official channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“If you find a foreign national disturbing public order or showing indications of breaking the law, please report it to the nearest immigration office. This is in line with the spirit of Immigration for the People, where we are present alongside the community to safeguard our shared sovereignty and peace,” she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
