NUSA PENIDA, Bali — A 57-year-old Belgian tourist died suddenly at a villa in Nusa Penida on Tuesday morning, just hours after sharing breakfast with her husband before the couple planned to continue their holiday on the island.

The woman, identified by her initials AMV, was found unconscious inside her villa room in Dusun Biaung, Desa Ped, Nusa Penida, according to local police.

Nusa Penida Police Chief Kompol I Ketut Kesuma Jaya said the victim and her husband, identified as NCP, had breakfast together near the villa’s swimming pool at around 8:00 a.m. local time before returning to their room to prepare for the day’s activities.

At approximately 9:00 a.m., NCP was in the bathroom when he heard his wife calling out weakly.

“When the witness came out of the bathroom, he found the victim lying on the floor and unresponsive,” Kesuma said.

The husband immediately sought help from villa staff, who provided emergency first aid and attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) while waiting for an ambulance to arrive.

The victim was then transported to Nusa Medica Clinic for medical treatment. However, doctors later confirmed that she had died.

Police officers subsequently conducted a preliminary investigation at the scene, interviewed witnesses, and coordinated with medical personnel to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.

According to Kesuma, no signs of violence were found during the initial examination.

“Based on the medical examination, there were no indications of physical violence on the victim’s body,” he said.

Doctors also reported no external injuries, major wounds, or bruising that would suggest criminal activity.

Police said the victim was not known to have any serious medical conditions or allergies, based on information provided by family members.

Despite the ongoing administrative investigation, the victim’s family has declined an autopsy that could potentially determine the exact cause of death.

“The family, represented by the victim’s husband, has formally stated that they do not consent to an autopsy,” Kesuma said.

Indonesian authorities confirmed that the family’s decision will be respected in accordance with applicable procedures.

The case is currently being handled as a sudden death, with no evidence at this stage suggesting foul play or criminal involvement.

Police are continuing administrative procedures while coordinating with relevant authorities regarding the next steps.

The victim’s body is expected to be transferred to Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah General Hospital in Denpasar before arrangements are made for repatriation to Belgium.

Nusa Penida, located southeast of Bali, has become one of Indonesia’s most popular tourist destinations, attracting visitors from around the world with its dramatic coastal landscapes, beaches, and diving sites.

Authorities have not released any further information regarding the cause of death, and no additional investigation details have been announced.

  • “Aku kepikiran jadi LC…”
mereka hanya sedang mencoba bertahan hidup.
Kadang…
orang hanya ingin didengar tanpa direndahkan.
#Viral #LC #Kehidupan #RealitaHidup #AnakMuda #Ekonomi #ViralIndonesia #CeritaHidup #MentalHealth #Relationship #KehidupanKeras #Empati #BaliViralReporter #ViralBali #Indonesia #StoryOfTheDay #HumanStory #FYPIndonesia #TikTokIndonesia #FacebookViral #DramaKehidupan #KontenViral #Motivasi #RefleksiHidup #SocialIssue #LifeStory #ViralVideo #BaliToday #TrendingIndonesia
  • Nyesek banget. 🤢 #EsKepalCicak #ViralJijik #SafetyFirst #JajanBijak #balireporter
#Bali #BaliNews #KutaUtara #Badung #SungaiBali #SempadanSungai #VillaBali #PembangunanBali #LingkunganBali #SaveBali #KrisisLingkungan #BaliUpdate #BeritaBali #BaliHariIni #IndonesiaNews #ViralNews #UrbanDevelopment #Overdevelopment #ProtectBali #heybali
